P.J Day in Room 4
Today the children celebrated the read-a-thon by coming to school in their P.Js. Don't they look warm and cuddly?

Room 4's Writing
Last weekend the big tree fell down. Now we just have a
stump. It still has its roots. Meg thought that we could put some swings there,
I thought that we could plant some flowers, Hadi thought that we could plant
some vegetables there and last of all Issy thought that we could put a slide
there. – Abby
In the weekend the big tree fell down. Oh no! Issy got three
stacks of the wood. Issy’s mum and dad would’ve been happy. I liked the big
tree because it was shady. When I came to school I couldn’t see the tree. It
was a beautiful tree. I love the big, big tree. It was awesome. Where the tree
was I think threre should be a swing. – Meg
Our big tree got cut down. I am sad. We could put a
trampoline there or we could put some flowers. – Elise
In the storm the storm split the tree in half. The builders
had to come and cut the tree. In the weekend a man came removed the tree. –
Roman
One day there was a big storm and there was a big old tree.
The tree fell down. There was wood for free. I got three piles of wood. We have
to use the wood next year. Now we have lots of wood. My dad helped to clean up.
We went in the ute and there was lots of wood. – Issy
One day a big storm came. It broke down the school’s tree.
It also broke the fence. A few days later some men came and cut the rest. I
think we should put some swings in the place where the tree fell down. I also
think we should make a path that we could walk through and plant some flowers
around the path. I’m sad that the tree fell down but if the men hadn’t cut it
down it could fall on someone. So I am happy and sad. – Lucy K
